The following article applies to all software versions 8, 9, 10, and newer. Software version prior to Version 8 will require that you contact IndySoft Technical Support for assistance.


Overview

On occasion when logging into the software you may be presented with a Warning message that the Registration Computer must run Indysoft once every 90 days.


You might get this Warning message if:

  • The Registration Computer listed in the Warning message has not launched the software in 75 days.
  • The Registration Computer listed in the Warning message was registered under a different Windows account.
  • The employee's Window Account used to Register the software is no longer with your company.

Reset the Registration computer

To reset the registration, locate and launch the Registration utility located in the Software client install folder.

Version 8:

Registration utility is named insitereg.exe and by default is located in the C:\Program Files\GageInSite folder.

Version 9:

Registration utility is named IndySoftreg.exe and by default is located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\IndySoft folder.

Version 10:

Registration utility is named IndySoftreg.exe and by default is located in the follow folder depending on if you have installed 32-bit or 64-bit client.


32-bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\IndySoft folder
64-bit - C:\Program Files\IndySoft folder


When prompted, log in as a Software Administrator.



Select the product you need to reset and select the Remove License option. Select the 'By Internet' option and enter your customer number/Environment number. Now you need to add the licenses back. Repeat the steps above choosing the Add License option.
